Onlywire Submiter Problem

posted Sep 08, 2010 01:42:22 by Benson
I'm getting the following issues with my Onlywire Submitter.

How do I know if my Onlywire submitter is working?

My username and password is typed in exactly.

Log on to onlywire and look at your submissions to see if they are succeeding. I downloaded the onlywire submitter and it runs on my computer all day. Until I did that I couldnt get any of them to submit. I didnt see that in any of the videos.

Hi Chris,

Thsnks for responding. I am confused now.

We have the Onlywiresubmitter as a plugin in the WP. I added the Username and Password to the Onlywiresubmitter #1 replacing Bill's Info.

Why do I need to have the Onlywiresubmitter downloaded to my desktop or submitting?

I was under the same impression. The onlywire plugin is pushing the info to onlywire but not completing the actual submission. Once I downloaded the onlywire app to my computer they acually started to submit. Also, the all you download from onlywire has an option to enable captcha popups. I guess some of the services require a captcha code to submit. That is the only way I could get it to work. I couldn't find any documentation on the plugin website about it at all. We really need some clarification on this.

That doesnt make any sense. Did you change the onlywire plugin to use your username and password? Also, on the submitter make sure you authorize your account. You should only see postings in onlywire that are directly from your posts on your site.

Yep. I did change to my own accounts on onlywire and I did authorize.
The above showed up on my Onlywire even before I downloaded the Submitter.

Strange. Can you find those posts on your website? I'm not sure where else they would be coming from.

Nope, there is nothing on my site about those articles.

Is there a way to erase them?

Are you using the paid version or the free one? I'm not sure how to delete them, especially once they are submitted. I guess you would have to log on to each account to remove them.

I am using the free account.

Well the ones I have haven't been submitted yet. They are in the process of being submitted. Which is what I don't understand?

I'm guessing the free version posts their advertising along with your posts. I know mine have been taking 5 to 6 hours to post. Do you have any that show successfully submitted?
