.com domains?

posted Sep 13, 2010 12:29:49 by Ernie Vila
Basic question since we're doing so many domains, would it be smart to do bulk domain registration and how about .info or .org domains?

This program uses a lot of subdomains. So you really don't need to buy that many.

So if you were to buy makemoney.com then you would build subdomains such as

easy.makemoney.com
profit.makemoney.com

You are only buying one root domain and then the subdomains you build are at no cost.

But will .info's etc. work alright or should I stick with .com's?

.info's certainly work. I'm not sure what Bill's take is on .info's. Personally, I prefer .coms for the types of sites we are building here. I use .info's for adsense sites a lot.

Thanks for your feedback Chris, I had bulk purchased some .info's and wanted to give it a go that way for a start till I get rolling!

Since you already have them it might be worth a try using them. If the domain name is related to the niche your are promoting I would build a root site and some subdomains and see what kind of traffic you get.

You could also use them as stand alone content sites. So, use import buddy to import your root site and then change it like one of the content sites.
